Destruction Ritual
DESTRUCTION RITUAL (FRANCE/USA)
AN EXTREMELY RARE LIVE APPEARANCE
From the darkest depths of the French and American black metal underground comes DESTRUCTION RITUAL, an extraordinary alliance of musicians responsible for some of the most uncompromising creations in extreme metal.
Brought to life by the infamous MkM of ANTAEUS and ex-AOSOTH, alongside TerrorReign of NECROBLOOD, American guitarist Arafel and the devastating drumming of Blastum, DESTRUCTION RITUAL unite decades of underground experience into something truly vicious and disturbing.
Their debut full-length, Providence (2025), released through Norma Evangelium Diaboli / End All Life Productions, stands as one of the finest black metal albums of 2025. A merciless descent into psychological torment, despair and violence, the album combines savage black metal aggression with dissonant guitar work, unsettling melodies, suffocating atmospheres and MkM’s unmistakable, venomous vocal delivery.
Moving between relentless eruptions of brutality and slower, oppressive passages, Providence is far more than another exercise in extreme black metal. It is a deeply disturbing and carefully constructed work that carries the unmistakable spirit of Antaeus and Aosoth while establishing an identity entirely its own.
And now, DARKNESS GUIDES US 2027 will host something truly exceptional.
ONLY THE SECOND LIVE PERFORMANCE IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF DESTRUCTION RITUAL!
With appearances of this project being almost nonexistent, this is an exceptionally rare opportunity to witness MkM and his accomplices bring the violence and suffocating darkness of DESTRUCTION RITUAL to the stage.
One of the strongest black metal releases of 2025. A formidable assembly of underground musicians. A live appearance of exceptional rarity.
