FUATH (SCOTLAND)
Emerging from the cold and desolate landscapes of Scotland, FUATH is the atmospheric black metal project of Andy Marshall, the mastermind behind the acclaimed SAOR. While SAOR draws heavily upon Scottish heritage and Celtic melodies, FUATH explores a far colder, darker and more primitive direction, deeply rooted in the hypnotic atmosphere of early 1990s black metal.
Drawing inspiration from the haunting minimalism of early BURZUM and the icy, repetitive soundscapes of the Norwegian black metal underground, FUATH combines raw, tremolo-driven guitars, distant tortured vocals, relentless rhythms and melancholic melodies into lengthy, immersive compositions. Albums such as I and II capture the isolation and bleakness of the Scottish wilderness, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously hypnotic, sorrowful and deeply unsettling.
DARKNESS GUIDES US 2027 proudly presents an EXCEPTIONALLY RARE LIVE APPEARANCE from FUATH in the forests of Voio. An extraordinary opportunity to experience the darker musical vision of Andy Marshall in a setting perfectly suited to its cold and haunting atmosphere. For admirers of early BURZUM, traditional Norwegian black metal and hypnotic atmospheric darkness, this is a performance not to be missed.
