Blood Countess
BLOOD COUNTESS (UNITED KINGDOM)
Blood Countess bring savage British black metal built on scathing tremolo riffs, punishing blast beats and sinister melodies that creep beneath the violence. Their songs move between frantic assaults and slower, stalking passages, drawing on the spirit of ’90s black metal and the blood-soaked legends of Elizabeth Báthory.
At the centre stands The Countess, whose vicious shrieks, snarls and tortured howls give the band its commanding voice. Her delivery is ferocious but expressive, turning the songs into something more unsettling than a constant barrage of screams. Alongside the cutting riffs and shifting rhythms, it makes Blood Countess an emerging force in the British underground that demands attention.
In September 2027, Blood Countess join Darkness Guides Us in the forests of Voio, bringing their reign of terror to the gathering.
