NECROMANIAC (UNITED KINGDOM)
A RARE SUMMONING OF MORBID METAL!
From the depths of London’s underground comes NECROMANIAC, a formidable international assembly of musicians whose devotion to the most sinister traditions of extreme metal has produced something truly exceptional.
Featuring The One of the legendary MACABRE OMEN on bass, alongside C. Howler, Sadistik Fornicator and V. Pestilencia, NECROMANIAC bring together musicians with extensive experience in the underground, united by a shared obsession with death, necromancy and the occult.
Their long-awaited debut album, Sciomancy, Malediction & Rites Abominable (2025), released through INVICTUS PRODUCTIONS and THE AJNA OFFENSIVE, is a magnificent demonstration of what the band themselves call MORBID METAL.
Drawing upon the primitive savagery of early black, death and thrash metal, NECROMANIAC deliver a vicious combination of murderous riffs, frantic drumming, theatrical vocals and sinister, almost ceremonial arrangements. Echoes of early Bathory, Tormentor, Master’s Hammer and the most deranged traditions of 1980s extreme metal emerge throughout their compositions, yet the band possesses a character entirely its own.
Far beyond straightforward aggression, their music incorporates unsettling passages, occult soundscapes and an almost cinematic sense of horror, making Sciomancy, Malediction & Rites Abominable one of the most fascinating underground extreme metal releases of 2025.
At DARKNESS GUIDES US 2027, NECROMANIAC will make an exceptionally rare live appearance in the Forests of Voio, offering festival attendees the opportunity to witness this remarkable gathering of musicians in the flesh.
A rare performance, an outstanding debut album and the presence of one of the minds behind MACABRE OMEN. Another exceptional addition to DARKNESS GUIDES US 2027!
