Akitsa
AKITSA (CANADA)
EXCLUSIVE EUROPEAN APPEARANCE
A RARE RETURN TO EUROPE AFTER FIVE YEARS
Emerging from the underground of Québec, Canada, Akitsa have established themselves as one of the most distinctive and uncompromising forces in black metal. Since their formation in 1999, the duo have forged a unique sound combining raw, primitive black metal with punk influences, bleak atmospheres and an unmistakable sense of nihilism.
With a fiercely independent approach and an extensive catalogue of underground releases, Akitsa have earned cult status among devotees of raw black metal worldwide, remaining one of the most elusive and respected names in the international underground.
DARKNESS GUIDES US 2027 IS PROUD TO PRESENT AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE AND EXCLUSIVE EUROPEAN APPEARANCE BY AKITSA, MARKING THEIR RETURN TO EUROPE AFTER MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OF ABSENCE.
For the first time in over half a decade, the Canadian underground legends will return to European soil for an extraordinary performance deep within the Forest of Voio, Greece.
An appearance of this rarity is not something that comes around often. With their notoriously limited live activity and uncompromising dedication to the underground, witnessing Akitsa on a European stage is an opportunity few have had.
ONE EXCLUSIVE EUROPEAN PERFORMANCE. A RETURN FIVE YEARS IN THE MAKING.
An exceptional occasion for devotees of raw black metal and undoubtedly one of the most anticipated appearances at Darkness Guides Us 2027.
